David has been practising law for nearly 20 years after graduating with both a Bachelor of Legal Studies and Bachelor of Laws. He enjoys working with a diverse range of people and helping them to achieve their goals. David works across several areas of law including property law, commercial advice and estate planning.
In property law, David works with first home buyers, investors, businesses and developers. He gets involved in a diverse range of transactions from simple sale and purchase agreements to complex multi-unit developments, subdivisions and both commercial and retail leases. When a transaction doesn’t quite go to plan, David advises people on their options and represents them if a dispute goes to litigation.
Working with businesses, David helps them to grow their business and plan for the future. This includes giving advice on how to structure their business, buying and selling their operations, reviewing contractual arrangements and putting in place succession plans.
Families and individuals also rely on David to help them to plan their estate, draft their will and power of attorney, and protect their assets.
David is never in a rush. He knows how important it is for clients to understand what is happening, so he takes the time to listen and explain everything to them. This helps his clients to make decisions that achieve their goals. Community is at the heart of everything David does. He has lived and worked in the Essendon area for years and spends time in Ballarat each week. He is also involved in the community, sits on several local business boards and sponsors local sporting teams and events through MNG Lawyers. Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his young family and a day on the golf course.
