Nelly has always wanted to work in the legal industry, so when the opportunity arose she took it. Working as a conveyancer for over four years, she enjoys helping people realise their property dreams.
Her clients include first home buyers, families looking to downsize and people investing in property. Nelly also helps people who are transferring assets because of a relationship breakdown or if they have lost a loved one. These are often delicate issues and she deals with them with care and sensitivity.
Nelly takes responsibility for managing all aspects of property transactions, from taking initial instructions, ensuring all the paperwork is in place right through to settlement. For clients who are buying a property, Nelly will review their contract and advise on any potential issues. For property sales, she will prepare the contract and explain any conditions that the purchaser may want to make. She then liaises with real estate agents, banks and other conveyancers, making sure duties are paid, all adjustments are made and everything is in place for a smooth settlement.
Her first priority is making sure that her clients have all their questions answered in a timely manner and know what’s happening with their transaction. Nelly understands that buying and selling property can be a stressful process but it’s also an exciting time. That’s why she aims to make it as enjoyable and easy as possible for her clients. When she’s not working, Nelly enjoys spending time with her gold retriever and going to the beach.
