Simone has been working in the legal industry for over 35 years, specialising in conveyancing and property transactions for the last 20 years. She has recently obtained an Advanced Diploma in Legal Practice and Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
Working with individuals, families, companies and developers she assists with the sale and purchase of her client’s homes or investment properties and related party transfers, including existing homes and off the plan properties. She reviews her client’s contracts and explains what they mean in plain English. Simone also drafts sale contracts and liaises with real estate agents, banks, brokers and other conveyancers and lawyers on her client’s behalf. She also helps families who have lost a loved one manage their property transfers.
Simone also assists developers with their more complex property transactions. This includes the registration of plans for subdivisions, heads of contracts and off the plan sales.
Clients appreciate Simone’s friendly and approachable manner. She keeps her clients updated with the progress of their settlement, and nothing is too much trouble as she happily answers any questions in simple and easy to understand language. Simone is always quick to respond, tapping into her depth of knowledge and experience in the industry. Keeping up to date with any changes in legislation is important to Simone and she shares any relevant changes with her clients to ensure their transaction settles smoothly. On the weekends, Simone is involved with local sporting clubs and enjoys spending time at Lake Eppalock with family and friends.
